Registered Nurse (RN)- Labor & Delivery
About The Position
Wellington Regional Medical Center is hiring a full-time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a night-shift position offering 36 hours per week, full benefits, and the opportunity to work overtime or cover other shifts. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to experienced Labor & Delivery nurses with at least five years of specialty experience. The RN provides safe, competent, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nurse also provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and demonstrates Service Excellence standards. Wellington Regional Medical Center is a 235-bed acute care hospital in Wellington, Florida, and is part of Universal Health Services (UHS).
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Prefer one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting; Labor and Delivery experience is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire.
- NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion, or obtain it within three months of employment.
- Fetal Monitoring class completed within the past two years.
- Current Florida nursing license.
- Successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Nice To Haves
- Labor and Delivery experience.
- At least five years of Labor and Delivery specialty experience for eligibility for the sign-on bonus.
