Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (ICU)
About The Position
MidState Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for its Critical Care (ICU) units. ICU nurses practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. The hospital offers clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities through an ICU Nurse Residency. MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, along with a wide range of specialties, serving patients throughout the region from birth through the end of life. The position is scheduled for two 12-hour shifts per week, from 06:45 to 19:15, with every third weekend and every third holiday. No mandating or off-shift rotations are required.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- ASN.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

- One year of recent acute-care RN experience is preferred.
