About The Position

MidState Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for its ICU units across multiple hours and shifts. The center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, along with a wide variety of specialties. Its Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Nurses receive clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities while completing the ICU Nurse Residency.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent acute-care RN experience preferred
