About The Position

Baptist South is hiring a Registered Nurse for its PACE Team in Jacksonville, Florida. This PRN role is in the Pre-Admission Testing area, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and no required weekends or holidays. The RN provides and coordinates patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel. The nurse works with patients and their significant others or families to develop individualized plans of care and prepares assigned rooms and cases while assessing patient care needs and anticipating case needs.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of surgical services nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise care provided by supportive personnel and coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and their significant others or families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate and prepare assigned rooms and cases.
• Assess patient care needs and anticipate the needs of the case.
