Registered Nurse, PACE, PRN, Baptist South
About The Position
Baptist South is hiring a Registered Nurse for its PACE Team in Jacksonville, Florida. This PRN position is in the Pre-Admission Testing area and has hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; weekends and holidays are not required. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; supervising care provided by supportive personnel; and coordinating care provided by ancillary services. The RN includes patients and their significant others or families in developing individualized plans of care. The role also involves coordinating and preparing the assigned room or case, assessing patient care needs, and anticipating case needs. Baptist Health is a locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving Northeast Florida through more than 200 locations and six hospitals. Its centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of surgical services nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate of Science in Nursing.
Responsibilities
