Registered Nurse - Step Down (Nursing)

About The Position
Registered Nurse for a medical step-down unit with 6–20 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The unit cares for patients with conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The role may float to other IMCU units, most commonly 5J and 12A.
Requirements
- Two years of experience.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
