About The Position

Rogue Regional Medical Center (RRMC), located in Medford, is a 378-bed regional referral and level 2 trauma center with advanced medical technology and clinical expertise. The hospital provides heart and vascular care, orthopedic services, cancer care, neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation, work health, diabetes care, hospice services, primary stroke care, a hospital-based sleep center, and the region’s only neonatal intensive care unit.

A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver accountable for their practice and assigned patients. Using the nursing process, the RN delivers compassionate, high-quality care, pursues excellence, and works to streamline and improve operations. This is a union position at 0.9 FTE, scheduled for patterned third-shift nights. External candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance.

Requirements

• RN licensure by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN), required upon start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for the Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association (AHA), required upon start.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year of experience in an acute patient care department preferred.
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred.

• Shift differentials: $2.50 for work between 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.; $10.00 for work between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.; and $2.50 for weekend work.
