About The Position

A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patients. Using the nursing process, the RN delivers compassionate, high-quality health care, is committed to excellence, and is empowered to streamline and improve operations. The position is with Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, a 378-bed regional referral and Level 2 trauma center. The hospital provides services including heart and vascular care, orthopedics, cancer care, neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation, work health, diabetes care, hospice, stroke care, sleep services, and neonatal intensive care.

Requirements

• Oregon State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license, required upon start.
• Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association, required upon start.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification, required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• One year of experience in an acute patient care department.
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification.
