About The Position

Westview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend-option day-shift opportunities. The nurse will develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role involves creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere, supporting teamwork and coordinated care, and contributing to a respectful, positive work environment. The nurse is expected to demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.

• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
