RN - Pediatric Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA’s Willow Grove Pediatric Office is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Skilled Nursing team and provide compassionate, high-quality care to pediatric clients in Glenside, Elkins Park, and Stenton, Philadelphia. The role offers the opportunity to develop high-acuity, hospital-level nursing skills in a home setting, caring for one client at a time. The featured pediatric clients have complex medical needs that include respiratory support, tracheostomies, ventilator or BiPAP use, and feeding tubes. Nurses travel to one nearby client and provide care on a chosen schedule, with traditional shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours. BAYADA provides onboarding and training, ongoing support from Clinical Managers and office staff, and opportunities for clinical advancement.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Report changes in a client’s condition to the Clinical Manager and physician.
- Provide hands-on, one-to-one nursing care in a client’s home.
