About The Position
The Staff Nurse provides clinical care to patients in the pre-operative, procedure-room, and recovery areas of the endoscopy center, following standard techniques and established policies and procedures to support positive patient outcomes. The nurse applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, assesses information reflecting a patient’s status, and interprets relevant data to identify needs based on the patient’s age and condition. The nurse works cooperatively with physicians, advanced practitioners, and other staff members.
Requirements
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients in the pre-op, procedure room, and recovery areas according to standard techniques and established policies and procedures.
- Assess patient-status information and interpret it to identify needs relative to the patient’s age and condition.
