About The Position

At Eagle Valley Meadows, the Registered Nurse develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. Nurses use their skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. This is a weekend-option day-shift opportunity focused on providing excellent care to seniors. The nurse supports residents, families, customers, and staff while demonstrating C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
