About The Position

Passport Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a group of clinics throughout the Chicago metro market as a local traveling RN. This full-time opportunity involves working across multiple clinics rather than at the same clinic every day, while developing specialized experience in travel medicine and preventive healthcare. The nurse will serve as the primary nurse onsite and practice independently, with access to remote clinical leadership and operational support as needed. The position includes flexible weekly assignments across a defined group of Passport Health clinics, based on patient demand and operational needs. The primary clinic cluster includes Naperville, Hinsdale, Glen Ellyn, and Oak Park, with ad hoc coverage at Vernon Hills, Orland Park, and Rolling Meadows. Assignments may vary across the workweek. Overnight travel is not expected. Reliable transportation is required; a driver's license, personal auto insurance, and a clean driving record are required only when using a personal vehicle during working hours. These requirements do not apply to nurses using public transportation. The role is listed as full-time preferred at 32–40 hours per week, though part-time opportunities may be considered based on availability and scheduling flexibility. The schedule is Monday through Friday with biweekly Saturday commitments. Start times generally range from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., depending on clinic demand. Compensation is described as a premium hourly rate, with a travel allowance for either personal vehicle or public transportation.
