Registered Nurse – Local Travel

Passport Health•Phoenix, AZ
•Onsite

About The Position

Passport Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide local nursing coverage across a group of clinics in the Phoenix metro market. This full-time role supports travel medicine and preventive healthcare, with clinic assignments varying according to patient demand and operational needs. It is local travel between assigned clinics, not traditional travel nursing, and overnight travel is not expected as part of the normal schedule. The nurse conducts travel health consultations, reviews client health histories, explains destination-specific health risks, and provides individualized vaccine and travel health recommendations. The role also supports immigration physicals by reviewing medical histories to help identify testing and vaccination needs. Additional work includes administering vaccinations, monitoring for adverse reactions, documenting care, managing vaccine inventory, maintaining clinic readiness, and supporting daily operations. The nurse may also support corporate wellness programs and onsite vaccination events, provide coverage across assigned clinics, and complete required continuing education and training. The nurse serves as the primary onsite nurse and practices independently using clinical judgment, with access to remote clinical leadership and operational support. The position is 32–40 hours per week, generally Monday through Friday, with biweekly Saturday commitments. Start times generally range from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Compensation is described as a premium market hourly rate with a monthly car allowance. Primary required clinics are Tempe, Gilbert, Northeast Mesa, 7th Street, and Outlier. Secondary coverage may be scheduled in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Surprise, and Glendale. Tucson coverage is limited to exceptional emergency needs. Assignments depend on geography, patient demand, and operational needs. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, personal auto insurance, and a clean driving record are required, as is comfort commuting between multiple clinic locations.
