About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring Registered Nurses for its Weekend Option at Lowell, with part-time and full-time opportunities. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role supports a comforting, engaging atmosphere and coordinated, comprehensive resident care while contributing to a positive, respectful team environment. Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet and exceed residents’ needs.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
- Work toward shared goals for excellent resident care.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
- Manage medications proficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
