About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, including regional and nationwide opportunities. This assignment is in the ICU at Trinity Health Livingston for 13 weeks, with three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The listed gross hourly rate is $66. The nurse may be required to float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions. The role applies professional nursing practice—from assessment and outcome identification through planning, implementation, and evaluation—and requires independent practice within the nurse’s license, knowledge, and experience. The nurse remains accountable for delegation, decisions, and outcomes while collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to quality improvement.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care and other specialties listed as remaining specialties.
Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
