About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, placing Registered Nurses in short- and long-term assignments across the health system. The role is for an ICU nurse at Trinity Health Grand Rapids. Day and night shift contracts are available; this posting describes a 13-week night assignment with three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., at a gross hourly rate of $66. The start date is ASAP. FirstChoice nurses may be required to float throughout a hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions. The position involves professional nursing practice within the nurse’s license, scope of knowledge, and experience, along with accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes. Nurses collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to quality improvement, adapt to new responsibilities and ideas, and manage competing priorities while embracing cultural differences.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
