About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice registered nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with regional and nationwide opportunities. This assignment is at Trinity Health Oakland for 13 weeks, beginning ASAP, and is part-time. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., at a gross hourly rate of $66. The ICU Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care and may be required to float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions. The nurse applies the professional practice process, works independently within their license and scope of knowledge and experience, and remains accountable for delegation, decisions, and outcomes. The role collaborates with stakeholders, contributes to quality improvement, and adapts to changing responsibilities, new ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state or states of practice/employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area; BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
