About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment to patients throughout this recovery process. The role is full-time nights with 12-hour shifts in Atlanta, Georgia, and compensation is $44.58–$60.00 per hour based on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The hospital provides a thorough RN orientation program and supports career growth through a clinical ladder, certifications such as PCCN and CCRN, a company-paid BSN scholarship, tuition reimbursement, and continuing education. A student debt benefit program is also available.

Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
