About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery. The position is full-time nights, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, in Savannah, Georgia. Compensation is $37.00–$50.00 per hour based on experience, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Document patient care accurately and promptly using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
