About The Position
Benedictine is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join its compassionate care team. The position is based on integrated nursing principles and involves performing assessments, care planning, interventions, evaluations, and maintaining professional nursing standards. The RN develops and implements individualized plans of care based on assessment and diagnosis, administers medications correctly, and provides education to residents, families, and caregivers. Benedictine and its ministry partners are a not-for-profit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. The organization is guided by the values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice, and focuses on creating a supportive culture for residents and team members.
Requirements
- Hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
- Have the organizational skills needed to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment and diagnosis.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications and administer them correctly.
- Plan and provide education to residents, families, and caregivers.
- Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations while maintaining professional nursing standards.
