RN, Registered Nurse | Obstetrics & Nursery
About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Obstetrics & Nursery team in the Mother Baby unit. The role supports new mothers and families as they transition into parenthood by providing care to mothers and babies, breastfeeding assistance and education, antepartum care including fetal monitoring, and care for extended recovery patients. The nurse also provides patient education and discharge instructions. This is a 0.9 FTE position scheduled for 72 hours every two weeks, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The schedule includes every third weekend and two holidays per year. The starting pay is $38.96, with additional pay for experience and shift, weekend, and holiday differentials.
Requirements
- RN license to work in the state of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
- BLS for health care providers.
Nice To Haves
- RN experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to new mothers and their babies.
- Assist and educate mothers on breastfeeding.
- Care for antepartum patients, including fetal monitoring, and extended recovery patients.
- Provide patient education and instructions for going home.
