Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics
About The Position
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Obstetrics area. Nurses use the nursing process—including assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation—to address the age-appropriate needs of patients. They follow nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures to develop individualized education and care plans and provide education and support to family members. The role uses judgment and knowledge of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff, supports customer satisfaction, maintains patient confidentiality, and responds sensitively to patients’ age-specific needs for comfort, privacy, and care. Employees complete annual competency requirements specific to their areas of responsibility. Requirements
- Maintain a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
