About The Position
Registered Nurses at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital use the nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation—to provide direct and indirect patient care based on their assigned area. They address patients’ age-appropriate needs and follow nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures to develop individualized education and care plans. The role includes providing appropriate education and support to family members, directing ancillary staff using judgment and an understanding of patient and family needs, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining patient confidentiality, and attending to age-specific needs for comfort, privacy, and general care. Employees complete annual competency requirements specific to their areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Maintain a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
