Registered Nurse Traveler IMCU Stepdown Days
About The Position
Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina is hiring a Registered Nurse traveler for a 14-week assignment on the day shift in the IMCU/Stepdown area. The RN provides competent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The role also follows professional performance standards encompassing ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and nursing research, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN must possess the clinical knowledge and skills required for the specific clinical area and meet and maintain any specialty-specific requirements. The listed rate is $75 per hour; Sentara notes that compensation is under review and that its Talent Acquisition team can provide more specific information during recruiting.
Requirements
- RN degree: ADN, BSN, or MSN.
- Valid RN license to practice in Virginia.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- At least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in IMCU, SD, or PCU.
