About The Position
The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse provides nursing care in a medical intensive care setting. The role is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. The nurse must be willing to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit.
- Skill in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Skill in management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
- Skill in continuous IV sedation.
- Skill in care of ventilated patients and ventilator management.
Responsibilities
