About The Position
Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its MICU (ICU). The Registered Nurse is directly responsible for the care of assigned patients. The nurse communicates with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, abnormal results, and symptoms. The nurse must respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and response to treatment, and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Centinela Hospital Medical Center is a 362-bed acute-care hospital serving Inglewood and the wider Los Angeles area. It is part of Prime Healthcare and provides emergency, stroke, orthopedic, cardiac, critical care, and rehabilitation services. This is a full-time, day-shift position. The current compensation range is $43.68 to $62.41; the starting compensation offered is determined based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Current BCLS certificate.
- Current ACLS certificate.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Critical Care Course.
- Previous critical care experience.
