About The Position

Monticello Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a weekend option position on the day/evening shift. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff, using their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role offers opportunities for personal interaction and thoughtful care in a supportive environment, with an emphasis on getting to know residents’ stories, routines, and preferences.

The nurse supports a comforting and engaging atmosphere, promotes teamwork, collaborates with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate resident care, and contributes to a respectful and positive work environment. A $12,000 sign-on bonus is offered to full-time RNs, subject to terms and conditions. The bonus is prorated for part-time positions, and applications must be submitted by 10/31/2026.

Requirements

• Current, valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

• Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
