About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works on Saline Memorial’s 17-bed Rehabilitation unit, providing direct patient care through the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The position reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Handle with Care certification.
• One year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments accurately and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation relating to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
