About The Position

Saline Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its 17-bed Rehabilitation unit. The RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process and applicable scope and standards of practice. The position is full-time, working nights on a 3x12 schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. The nurse assesses patients, identifies needs, initiates appropriate interventions, provides care suited to patients’ conditions and ages, documents medical necessity, completes and revises each patient’s Interdisciplinary Care Plan, and completes timely, accurate quality-improvement assessments.

Requirements

• Current state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care.
• One year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to each patient’s condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate medical-necessity documentation in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality-improvement assessments.
