About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in a behavioral health setting. The RN assesses patients, plans care within established timeframes, and documents findings according to policy. The role includes leadership responsibilities, including delegating tasks and overseeing staff to ensure nursing procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is delivered. The RN administers medications in accordance with hospital policy.

The position is full-time on a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) with rotating weekend shifts. It is based at El Dorado Springs Behavioral Health in Tucson, Arizona, which provides behavioral health and substance use treatment for adults and seniors.

Requirements

• Current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• At least 21 years of age.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• De-escalation certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
