RN Registered Nurse Part Time
About The Position
Greystone Farm is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The RN works with a team of associates to support residents and build lasting relationships with residents and colleagues. Part-time opportunities are available for day, evening, and night shifts: 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., and 10 p.m.–6 a.m. The listed pay range is $34.25–$38.25 per hour. Requirements
- Current state RN license and CPR certification.
- Graduate of an approved RN program, according to state requirements.
- One to two years of experience working as a nurse is preferred.
- Previous experience working with elderly people in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
- Observe and report significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, Resident Care Assistants (RCAs), and Executive Director, as required by state regulations.
- Direct and supervise Resident Care Assistants’ daily work assignments.
- Mentor, guide, and direct Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their jobs.
- Coordinate care needs with community providers through an effective case management process.
- Balance service demands with support for resident independence.
- Recognize and help prevent elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, including financial exploitation, and report concerns to appropriate sources as required by state regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response system alerts, and know when to call for backup.
