About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with Las Palmas Medical Center policies and procedures and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members, the RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans and plans of care. The role is associated with the Transitional Nursery; the posting also refers to a Registered Nurse NICU opening.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification; an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Neonatal Resuscitation qualification is listed among the required qualifications.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
Collaborate with patients, patients’ families, and other members of the healthcare team.
Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans and plans of care.
