About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and guides patient and family teaching, as well as the activities of other nursing personnel, while maintaining professional nursing standards. The position provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, responds promptly and accurately to changes in a patient's condition or response to treatment, and helps maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors. The nurse uses the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriate care from post-delivery stabilization through discharge.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BCLS certification upon hire and maintained as current.
• NRP certification within 30 days of hire and maintained as current.
