About The Position

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its nursery. The role focuses on assessing patients, identifying care needs, providing appropriate nursing care, documenting care, and coordinating interdisciplinary plans. The position is full-time with varied hours and is performed in person.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provide age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
