About The Position

Registered Nurse supporting the Medical / Surgical specialty. This assignment is not available to local candidates who live within 50 miles. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and varies. Nurses may be assigned to staff seven additional overflow beds on the Neuro Unit. Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the work location.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Medical / Surgical specialty.
• Staff seven additional overflow beds on the Neuro Unit as needed.
• Work the required holiday shifts: two of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, plus one of the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
