About The Position

Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical service, working 3x12 night shifts. The nurse will care for patients across Medical Surgical units 3100 and 2100, with patient populations including medicine, colorectal surgery, urology surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic reconstruction (hip and knee replacement/revision), bariatric surgery, general surgery, and orthopedic spine surgery. Nurses will float between Medical Surgical units to meet facility needs. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4–5. The position guarantees 36 hours.

Requirements

• At least 1.5 years of experience.
• BLS certification.
• A pending license is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Medical Surgical patients across units 3100 and 2100.
• Float between Medical Surgical units to meet facility needs.
• Care for patients in medicine, colorectal surgery, urology surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic reconstruction, bariatric surgery, general surgery, and orthopedic spine surgery.
