81200 - Neuro ICU – Registered Nurse 1 or 2, Inpatient
About The Position
The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse 1 or 2 role is for a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the nurse continues to build competency in providing direct patient care, contributes to unit activities, supports enhancement of the unit-level care delivery system, and supports peers in delivering patient care services. The position is in a new, state-of-the-art Neurosciences ICU caring for patients with neurosurgical, interventional neurology, and medical neurology needs. Diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. Nurses work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, challenging environment and are expected to demonstrate critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, while keeping their critical-care knowledge current. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts are 12 hours and may be days, evenings, or nights; holidays and weekends are worked according to unit policy.
Requirements
- Be a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager while continuing to build nursing competency.
