Registered Nurse Neuro ICU
About The Position
Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in its 13-bed 2W Neuro ICU. The unit provides critical care for neurology and neurosurgical patients, including patients with strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, movement disorders, and those undergoing craniotomies or spinal surgeries. As a comprehensive stroke center, the unit offers specialized services intended to support patient recovery. Nurses work in a team-oriented environment with opportunities to manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance their nursing skills. The position is a 12-hour night shift.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school or college of nursing: BSN or ADN.
- BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required before hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license, required before hire.
