About The Position

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab, a Caldera Care facility, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The role is available on evening and night shifts and pays $45–$53. The RN provides direct resident care, completes assessments and documentation, coordinates care with the team, communicates changes in residents’ conditions, and directs unit staff as needed. The position reports to the Unit Nurse Manager.

Requirements

Current and valid RN license.
Multistate license holders must have a 6-hour Suicide Prevention Certificate.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients on the assigned unit.
Administer and record medications and treatments as offered.
Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary.
Educate residents and families and provide health care instructions as necessary.
Collaborate with team members to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and other patient activities.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as necessary.
Communicate with providers and nurse management about patients’ conditions, changes, medications, and vital signs.
Provide direct care to residents as needed.
Direct unit staff as necessary.
Report resident and staff issues or concerns to the direct supervisor as needed.
Serve as Charge Nurse when scheduled.
