Registered Nurse (RN) - FULL TIME
About The Position
Rosewood is seeking an experienced, full-time Registered Nurse for its 5-star Skilled Nursing team. Under general supervision, the RN is responsible for residents’ total nursing needs and incorporates HumanGood’s Philosophy for Person-Directed Care. The RN helps ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors; supports residents in participating in their daily life rhythm; coordinates assignments with care partners; and holds team members accountable for resident care and satisfaction. The position is on the NOC shift, 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with pay of $37–$45 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- Completion of a Licensed Registered Nursing Program (RN).
- Current California RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation, reviewing electronic health records, and communicating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate nursing care for residents and include them in decision-making processes.
- Engage residents in daily activities that reflect their preferred routines, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
- May lead and direct care partners by providing support, encouragement, and direction.
- Make frequent rounds and use the nursing process to identify resident conditions requiring further evaluation or treatment by a physician.
- Report significant medical changes to relevant team members, the physician, DON, HSA, and designated family members as appropriate.
- Respond to emergencies, carry out physician orders, and document events, interventions, and outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing services, including medication administration, treatments, personal care, and other nursing procedures.
- Receive, document, and transcribe physician orders accurately and completely, with timely follow-through and advocacy for resident safety.
