About The Position

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community. The RN advances the value that the resident comes first, treats the community as the resident’s home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. The position starts at $37.00 per hour, with a weekend differential under the premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience. Requirements

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved RN program.
Current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
Geriatric nursing experience.
