About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care through patient assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, while ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The role includes assessing individual care needs, implementing appropriate interventions, delivering care suited to each patient's condition and age, documenting medical necessity and nursing activities, maintaining interdisciplinary care plans, and completing Quality Improvement assessments. The position requires a current state Registered Nurse license and CPR/BCLS certification. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail in clinical documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify individual care needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Deliver care appropriate to each patient's condition and age.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
