About The Position
The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct delivery of patient care for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. The role includes assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, providing and documenting direct care and education, responding to patient conditions, and directing and delegating care to ancillary team members. Employees are expected to follow applicable ethical and legal standards, company policies, privacy requirements, and information security guidelines, including HIPAA and the company’s Code of Business Conduct.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania RN licensure or current multistate licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments to identify patient needs.
- Develops and implements comprehensive plans of care.
- Performs and documents direct patient care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.
- Identifies and responds to patient condition to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Directs and delegates care provided by ancillary team members.
- Complies with applicable ethical and legal standards, company policies, HIPAA privacy requirements, and information security guidelines.
