About The Position

The Weekend Option Registered Nurse at Heritage Park works the night shift from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The nurse develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff, learns residents’ life stories, and uses nursing skills to promote their physical and psychosocial well-being. The position operates within an organization that emphasizes strong clinical standards, proven processes, and quality senior care. The RN supports a comforting and engaging atmosphere, promotes teamwork, collaborates with nursing and facility teams to coordinate resident care, and contributes to a respectful, positive work environment. Responsibilities include medication management, thorough assessments, and accurate documentation of changes in residents’ conditions. Requirements

Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.

Have supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
