Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Pediatrics
About The Position
Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The role contributes to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health and meets applicable Joint Commission and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting requirements. The position is listed at the 32nd Avenue Building in the Pediatrics department. It is a 0.9 FTE role with a rotating day, evening, and night schedule; start and end times vary. No call obligation is listed. Essentia Health is an integrated health system serving Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
Requirements
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
- Current nursing licensure in the state or states of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year.
