About The Position

The Registered Nurse organizes and provides nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The role contributes to the facility's and Essentia's mission and goals and meets applicable Joint Commission and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting requirements.

This position is in the Pediatrics department at the 32nd Avenue Building. It is a 0.9 FTE role with a day/evening/night rotation; shift start and end times vary. The posting lists a compensation range of $38.22–$57.33 and sign-on incentives of $7,500 for eligible associate-prepared RNs and $10,000 for eligible bachelor's-prepared RNs, for experienced and new graduate RNs with a work commitment.

Requirements

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in the state or states of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
• Meet applicable Joint Commission requirements and requirements of other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
