Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality, reliable care to pediatric clients and their families in a private-duty, one-client-at-a-time home setting. Clients range in age from birth to 21 years old. Nurses travel to a client’s home and provide hands-on care on a schedule they choose, with traditional shift options of 4, 8, or 10 hours. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimums; full-time, part-time, and per-diem arrangements are listed. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-on-one, hands-on pediatric nursing care and build relationships with clients while observing their milestones.
