Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, reliable, one-on-one private duty nursing in a client's home. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and work a schedule chosen with regard to their availability. Clients range in age from birth through 21 years old. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of four, eight, or ten hours, hands-on care with one client, and the opportunity to build relationships and observe client milestones. Scheduling is flexible with no minimum hours; full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules are available. Benefits are subject to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one care to a client in the client's home.
