About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides one-on-one private duty nursing in a client’s home, caring for children from birth through age 21. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and work a schedule they choose. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of four, eight, or ten hours, hands-on care with one client, and the opportunity to build relationships and observe client milestones. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimums; full-time, part-time, and per-diem arrangements are available.

The position includes weekly pay, flexible scheduling based on availability, and opportunities for training and education. Benefits vary by employment type. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider and complies with applicable state and local mandates.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on doctors’ orders, carry them out, and document them properly.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on, one-on-one care in a client’s home.
